hey guys. a lot has been going on this year in DECA. we just wrapped up the penny war for Shawn Thompson's family (update on total later). other than that, people have been getting started on their competitive events and such. Cardinal Kroger is doing really well. you guys should come check it out and buy stuff during breaks. uhh...other than that, i can't think of anything else right now. oh, you all need to start coming to more meetings. seriously. our membership is wayy down this year, and we need to get some more people involved.
peace out. brittany.

Hello everyone! Today was DECA Professional Day...only 10 people dressed up. Honestly, I was not one of them. Tomorrow is T-Shirt/Sweatshirt Day.
That's all I have for now...I am just trying to waste time.

hey everybody. earlier today we got home from the DECA local and regional officer meeting in Bardstown. it was tons of fun. i thought it was going to be one of the worst experiences of my lfie, but it was quite the opposite.
the National DECA President, Bob Redd was there. he's an awesome guy and makes a wonderful national president. Joe Whittneben, central region vice president was also there. he's cool too. he reminded me of Conan O'brien and that made me happy. during the weekend, we played a lot of games, learned a lot of important points about leadership, and met awesome people.
the one school i believe TCHS bonded most with was John Hardin. those guys were super cool. Joe, Joey, Dylan, and Lauren--you guys are so cool. i met some cool kids from Lawerence county too, and then there are people i met, but i dont remember where they were from. overall, i believe it was a great weekend and im really glad i went.
i feel as though im rambeling, so im going to go now. peace on, rock out.

hey everyone! well today was the 2nd club meeting of our 2004-2005 DECA chapter. We elected homecomming canidates, Mr. and Miss DECA, and DECA sweethearts. I dont remember who all got what, but ill tell you what i remember:
DECA Homecomming Canidates: Sara Newcomb and Chris Wise Mr. and Ms. DECA: Jordan Goode and Michella Bryant DECA sweetheart(nominees): Candi Benningfield, Katie Martin, and Michella Bryant
we also decided on our t-shirt design. i dont have a picture, but its the gatorade symbol with DECA in the center instead of Gatorade. the shirts are going to be green. i think they will turn out pretty cool, hopefully.
the DECA officers have a regional workshop to attend this weekend. its in Bardstown, Ky. I hope we meet some awesome people there. thats what i would like to do at least, meet other DECA people.
okay, i believe thats all i have to say. goodbye.

hey everybody!
Well this year's DECA program is getting off to a great start i believe. We had our first club meeting on August 25th. It went well. Then, Cardinal Kroger (a grocery store ran by students in the marketing program) opened on the 26th. The opening day was quite successful also. This past monday, August 30th, we had our annual DECA Kickball game at Trace Creek. It was awesome fun. My team lost miserably, but we all still had a great time.
Upcomming Events For The TCHS DECA Chapter: September 11th - DECA Car Wash @ Wal-Mart September 22nd - Next Club Day September 24th and 25th - Officer Workshop in Bardstown, Ky
Thats all I have for now. Feel free to comment or write your own post on here if you are a member of DECA. We would love to hear from you. bye bye.

hi everyone!! my name is Michella Bryant. Im the reporter for the TCHS DECA chapter in the 2004-2005 school year. I just finished creating this community, and decided to write an entry to see what it would look like!
By desiging this community, i hope that this will be a tool of getting information out to those who join DECA this year and keeping them informed on the latest events, activities, and occurances. Also, i hope that through this community, myself and others could possibly connect with other people, are own age, who are involved in DECA chapters at their schools too!!
I suppose i have rambled enough for tonight, so until next time.. peace out!!
